IT’S TIME TO PRAY
Tuesday 17th
Jesus, just as Elisha asked for a double portion; today we are boldly asking for twice the thirst and hunger for Your presence - now more than ever.
Wednesday 18th
Father, we understand that different battles require different weapons. In Your Word you've laid out the weapons You've given us; prayer, fasting, tithing, thanksgiving, singing, giving unity and praise- just to name a few. Lord, is there a specific weapon I should be using today? I know that it might not be a weapon I'm familiar with, but Jesus, I know I could be a simple song away from a breakthrough.
Thursday 19th
Holy Spirit, today we are asking for a fresh baptism of your fire so that we can be fully prepared for the ministry that awaits us today.
Friday 20th
Lord, today we stand in the gap for those who cannot or will not pray for themselves. God we are determined to intercede for them until they encounter the grace of You. Father, we will not move from this place of prayer until significant work has been done.
Monday 23rd
Jesus, we know that you've got tomorrow already taken care of.
Tuesday 24th
Father, give us a passion in prayer that will enable us to pray and never give up. God, we are excited to see how you will use as as we continue to position ourselves in persistent prayer.
Wednesday 25th
Holy Spirit, we are asking with boldness - speak to us. Dampen and lower the volume of all the other competing voices. Right now we are asking the our desire to live near and in your presence to never leave. We are expecting to hear You clearly, now.
Thursday 26th
Holy Spirit, we ask to walk with you in nearness and with a friendship that we have never known. Father forgive us. If in the business of our lives we have neglected conversation and fellowship with you. We are asking for clarity and direction in every future decision.
Friday 27th
Lord, right now, there is no agenda. Our desire is know You and Your purpose of our life. We repent for running too fast, asking too quickly and bowing to the pressure and pace of culture and lifestyle that has forgotten how to wait. Father- TEACH ME TO WAIT!
