Community Clothing Share
At Encounter Church, we believe in the power of community and the importance of caring for one another. Our Clothing Share initiative is designed to promote sustainability, provide support for families, and foster generosity among our members.
How It Works:
24/7 Donation Dropbox: Starting now, community members are welcome to bring gently used clothing (Women’s, Children’s and Maternity) items to share. You’ll find a designated 24/7 donation dropbox located outside of the entry doors at Encounter Church. Lift the lid, donate items, then text the phone number noted on the poster above the box. Items will be promptly picked up by a volunteer. Donations will be washed, sorted and prepped for sharing (November 9th, 10-12PM).
The Share: On the day of the clothing share, November 9th, 10-12PM, community members are invited to browse and select items they need at no cost. This aims to help those who may be facing difficulties or simply looking to refresh their wardrobe sustainably.
